Beauty Therapy Apprenticeships

 

WORK BASED LEARNING
Work-Based Learning is publicly funded and is available to our Beauty Therapy students. There is no cost to the learner for the training received, although some outlay is expected in respect of equipment, text books and salon uniform.

In order to qualify, you must satisfy certain eligibility criteria, which are as follows:

  • Minimum age

You must have reached the minimum school leaving age and have left secondary education.

  • Salon placement

You are in paid employment within a hairdressing / beauty therapy salon.

  • You participate in structured training with Intuitions

In most cases this requires 1 day’s attendance at our training school once every week for beauty therapy students. This is in addition to your salon employment

  • You are working towards one of the programmes outlined on the next page

The suitability of a particular training programme will be determined during the enrolment process and through discussion with you, the student.

  • Entry Requirements

There are no set academic qualifications required as a course prerequisite, however grades C or above in English and Maths would be advantageous, and a passion to work in the hair and beauty industry is essential.
Anyone enrolling on a level 3 course must already possess a level 2 qualification or equivalent.
